Arnhold Karberg, London, state that permission

has been refused by Government of Hongkong to arrange for

transhipment to denda of 100 bales waste silk and 228

bales pierced cocoons now in 8.8,"Kleist" at Padang.

Applicants state that goods originally shipped from Hong Kong and that drafts negotiated with Banque de Indo Chine

have been refused by consignee who states that he will

accept when goods reach Genoa. Applicants state that

unless drafts accepted Bank will claim against assets of

Arnhold Karberg, Hongkong. Report by telegraph whether

it is desirable from point of view of creditors of Arnhold

Karberg, Hongkong, that the transaction should be permitted

and reason for withholding permission.
